What insurance do we accept?
Family Care North accepts a large number of insurance plans as well as self-pay patients. Please call our office at (706) 494-1454 to ask about your insurance.
Billing
If you are a patient at Family Care North and have a question about your bill, please contact our billing service, Medical Management Services, at (706) 660-8505.
What is our Walk-in Policy?
You may walk-in without an appointment during our specified walk-in hours if you have one of the following complaints:
- Sore throat
- Cold or Flu symptoms
- Sinus infection
- Bladder infection
- Poison ivy or other rash
- Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea
For all other complaints an appointment is necessary. "Walk-in" patients are "worked in" between our regularly scheduled patients so sometimes there is a wait to be seen. When you are a "walk-in" patient you will see either Dr. Royer or Dr. Chin, whichever one will can get to you first. Of course, if you want to minimize your waiting time, scheduling an appointment is always the best way to go. "Walk-in" patients are seen for their one acute problem only and a "walk-in-sick" visit is not considered an appropriate time to discuss chronic medical issues and medication refills.
Our walk-in hours for "sick" visits are 1-4 pm, Monday through Friday. We are open most Saturdays during the academic year from 10-11:30 AM for walk-ins with acute illnesses only. Saturday hours are not available from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
