Scientific studies show exercise can delay symptoms of Alzheimer’s. Medically effective, this program was designed for people who can no longer run, jump, or walk long distances. A great activity for Caregiver and Patient!

Part 1 - Physical Therapy:

This Prescription is as effective for an athlete of 21 as for an Alzheimer’s patient of 80. It will help improve balance and strength. Caregivers, have fun exercising with your Patient, assisting if necessary.

Part 2 - Massage Therapy:

Bedridden patients need a caring touch. With these instructions, the Caregiver will help the Patient relax, (lying in bed is not always "relaxing!") improve circulation, increase oxygen flow and help the Caregiver detect signs of skin problems.

Exercise can positively affect the health and well-being of someone with Alzheimer's by:
  • Improving energy, circulation, stamina and mood
  • Improving sleep
  • Aiding elimination and lessening constipation
  • Helping retain motor skills
  • Imparting a sense of meaning, and purpose
  • Creating a calming effect
